My Completion of Bookworm Adventures Deluxe Game

I started to play Bookworm Adventures Deluxe when I was in primary school (around 7-12 years old). Just a short introduction, the game is about constructing words using randomly-given 16 letters to attack enemies. Wikipedia helps me shorten my job, just click here for more further details.

I hope I'm not putting it wrong, my mother and I bought the disc game at Wisma Merdeka. There is one more game disc (Spiderwick bla bla bla~) we bought, but something error happened on the disc. Sayang sekali... [Last time government not strict, got many cetak rompak game discs available for sell. Karamunsing Complex also got many good game discs to choose.]

I never completed the Adventure mode (the main game). Too much obstacles faced to complete the game. Below I have listed down the obstacles I had faced:

1. Playing it on our 1st computer. The old big size that separates the monitor and CPU. Kids nowadays will surely never know how struggle you have to deal with its laggy-ness. Specifically, the computer is virus-infected to the maximum. While using it, you may need to reopen it for many times. And, the computer has sent a numerous of times to fix and reformat. That means every saved-process game data is gone. [Thanks to uncle Jude, the one who was once stationed at Central Plaza for inserting some good games after reformatted the computer.]
2. Limited time. I only have my morning time to play. Lower primary (from 1 two 3) is afternoon class, upper primary (four, five and six) is morning class. I got no time to play on my upper primary. ONLY if I have finished my school works, then maybe on the afternoon I can play the computer. Yeah ! [So that's why I am so motivated to finish all my works at school. During primary school era ONLY.]

It's never a regret to have a memorabilia game discs to play. Month of May 2018, I have finished the long-journey of race. The most exciting part is to check out the encyclopedia, or so-called : Tome of Knowledge. You will be able to look enemies that you have defeated upon completing 1/3 books with 10 chapters in each books. Name of enemy, attack skills, how-many-lives, short description with figure — all's there.

Attached below are photos I screenshot after completion of Bookworm Adventures Deluxe.

Adventure Mode (the main game as I said before)
This is where you can see what's your Top 10 words constructed during the game.
Power Rating...those other human name is naturally there, just to fill up empty spaces.

Arena Mode (Speed-Attack enemy bosses)
Upon completing the entire Adventure mode (three books in total), you can proceed to this mode. I don't actually play much on this mode, because the given letters are difficult to form a lengthy-word.  And the time given is too short (approx. 5 seconds) as the enemy will strike you to an attack.

Mini Games Mode (completing certain challenges to obtain potions and gems)
This is the mode that really saves your soul. It offers potions (Health, Power Up and Purify) and gems. Gems with different colours have different specialty and percentage rate of power.

Overall, I would say that the story plot is quite intriguing, a challenging & family-friendly game. Characters on enemies are varied and I like how it encloses Greek mythology or any other fictions that adds a bit knowledge. Since this game is a word-themed game, I would say that this is an educational game. Good to improve spelling of English words. Keep the great efforts going on, PopCap Games.
