My Chinese New Year 2017 Review

Chinese New Year 2017 has ended, which is the time for me to bid a farewell to the Year of Monkey. Till we meet in the next 12 years. //waving.hands Now, in year 2017, it's the Year of Rooster.

Commonly, people will mark the 15+1 days as the "important days" in CNY, in where everyone will snap photos or taking videos of the atmosphere and add-in the caption of auspicious sayings like Gong Xi Fa Chai, Xin Nian Kuai Le, Wan Shi Ru Yi, or Nian Nian You Yu. But what they intentionally set in mindset when it comes to Lunar New Year is: HONG BAO NA LAI. 

I'm not kidding, but even me, myself matters the red packets.

Gong Xi Fa Chai (恭喜发财) : May you have a prosperous New Year, not Kongsi Fatchoi~
Xin Nian Kuai Le (新年快乐) : Happy New Year.
Wan Shi Ru Yi (万事如意) : May all your hopes be fulfilled.
Nian Nian You Yu (年年有馀) : May you have abundance year after year, not every year got fish (鱼)

My 15+1 CNY "Important Days"

Literally, not all the 15+1 CNY Important Days are days to pay attention at. Just because of trends trending, they will tend to post photos (foods served, new outfits or CNY atmospheres) on frequent days. Based on my instinct, usually people will only start posting at CNY Eve, 1st to 3rd and 15th days of CNY.
TRUST ME, if they post on other rare days, it may be THROWBACK PHOTOS!
I'm so determined to say because everyone will startup new engine into a busy life. Except they are taking long holidays OR they are taking LONG HOLIDAYS.

15 represents Day 1-15 of Chinese New Year; and the
+1 represents Chinese New Year Eve, where everyone will have their reunion dinner.
But I would like to add 1 more day, 15+2 as my CNY "Important Days", because I have done something CNY-related on Pre CNY Eve.

So, these are my overviews of what I have done during my 15+2 CNY "Important Days"

26 / 01  Pre CNY Eve  :
Evening stroll at Padang Merdeka, Kota Kinabalu & Segama.

27 / 01  CNY Eve  :
Drive-thru car wash + vacuum.

Reunion dinner at Kampung Babagon (father's side).

                                 

28 / 01  1st Day  :  

Attending church service.

29 / 01  2nd Day  :
Stomachache attacking me!

Going to Tuaran.

Visiting Sabandar Leisure Rides.

30 / 01  3rd Day  :
Window shopping at Suria Sabah.

Exploring Signal Hill Eco Farm.

                                        

Sightseeing at Signal Hill Observatory Tower.

                            

 

Trying out new branch of Burger King at Plaza 333.

Quick stop at iGlool.

31 / 01  4th Day  :
Accidentally met faraway relatives at Ah Po's house.

01 / 02  5th Day  :
Taking train ride to Papar.

 

02 / 02  6th Day  :  Producing video.

03 / 02  7th Day  :
Taking late supper at newly refurbished
KFC Tanjung Aru after church service.

04 / 02  8th Day  :  Producing video.

05 / 02  9th Day  :
Helping hands in cleaning LCD room at church.

Almost whole family (me, my mum and sis) struck into sickness.

06 / 02  10th Day  :  Rest day. Slept for 12 hours+.

07 / 02   11th Day  :  Rest day.

Everyone get well a lot. Appetite backs to normal.

08 / 02  12th Day  :  Had done nothing. Not dare to touch laptop.

09 / 02  13th Day  :
Had done nothing. Not dare to get myself tired and exhausted.

10 / 02  14th Day  :  Uploaded video.

My Appreciation Post...

The presence of My After 17th doesn't interfere the continuation progress of Photos of My Adventure. It will still continue at its normal rate, because my mum's sweats and tears has dipped down too much helping me establish when I was still in my school uniform. She helped me a lot in maintaining my blog by creating new post and collecting the best photos to publish. During the school years, my mum has to endure my rages and sighs when she got questions to ask.

* Basically, my mum is the real author for Photos of My Adventure that makes it a great success. <bow.head.gif>
And I only have the title of being the admin for the blog.

I'm proud of her because she can multi-tasking, like doing house chores, cooking, drive us
wherever we go and BLOGGING !
